Silent Action is a long-durational performance in which the performer's position is monitored in real-time through a surveillance system. Under the command of the surveillance system, the performer repeatedly moves to the given coordinates and tapes the floor with layers of tape. The space echoed back and forth with the sound of taping and the system's instructions and alarms.

Through this repetitive “physical labor” and the action of unconsciously following instructions, I try to explore the manipulation of human thoughts and behaviors by social supervision. Under the invisible power structure, “silent action” seems to be obedience, but at the same time, it is also a highly self-politicized attitude.

 Silent Action是一個long-durational performance，通過一個設定好的行為監控繫統，performer的位置正被即時監控。在監控繫統的指令下，performer重複移動到指定的坐標，並在地闆上貼上一層層的膠帶。沉寂的空間來回回盪着貼膠帶的聲音和繫統的指示聲與警報聲。

我試圖通過這樣重複性的身體勞作與無意識跟隨指示的行動來探討社會監管對人思想與行爲意識的操縱。在無形的權力結構下，“沉默地行動”似乎是在順從，但同時也是一種高度自我政治化的態度。
