Sowing Day is a performance series involving two live performances. I use my identity as a woman to express the pressure on women under the contemporary call for the three-child policy in mainland China. I want to magnify the neglected issue of women's reproductive autonomy through this performance, and to show the conflict between women's personal economic development and the pressure of fertility that they face under the three-child policy.

Soil is piled on my body
Pig's blood oozes out of the soil and soaks the cotton.
I lay in the blood.
泥土堆放在我的肚子上，猪血从泥土中渗出，浸透了棉花。
我躺在血泊之中。

Horn Speakers
I stood between the two Horn Speakers
and only once my ears could no longer continue to tolerate the two loud sounds that I walk out.
我站在两个喇叭之间，直至我的耳朵再也无法忍受两个喇叭发出的巨大噪音，我才离开。
